Why it exists
Zoomaa started with a familiar frustration: standing at a lorry station, unsure which bus leaves when, whether a seat is left, or what it really costs.
Who builds it
I designed and built Zoomaa end-to-end — the passenger app, the operator platform and the payments — to make intercity travel across Ghana feel effortless: search, pick your seat, pay with Mobile Money, and track your bus the whole way.

Questions, answered
- How do I book a trip?
- Open Zoomaa, enter your origin, destination and date, then browse live departures. Pick a bus, choose your seat on the visual seat map, pay, and your ticket is issued instantly.
- Which cities do you cover?
- We're rolling out across Ghana, including Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Tamale, Ho, Sunyani, Koforidua, Bolgatanga, Wa, Techiman and Tema — with more routes added as operators join.
- Do you support French?
- Yes — Zoomaa is fully bilingual. You can use the entire app in English or French, and we're expanding across West Africa.
- What payment methods can I use?
- Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo) and debit / credit cards. You can save a card for one-tap rebooking. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners.
- Is my payment secure?
- Yes. Payments are handled by trusted Mobile Money providers and a PCI-compliant card processor. Zoomaa does not store your raw card number — card details are tokenised by the payment gateway.
- How do I get my ticket — is it a QR code?
- Yes. Once payment succeeds, a scannable QR ticket appears in the app. Show it to the operator at boarding. It works offline once it has been issued, so you don't need data at the station.
- Can I cancel or get a refund?
- Cancellation and refund terms are set per trip by the transport operator and are shown before you pay. Some fares allow free cancellation up to a cut-off time.
- How do I track my bus?
- Open your booking to see your bus on a live map with a countdown to departure and arrival. You'll also get nudges so you know when to head to the station.
- Can I send a parcel with Zoomaa?
- Yes. Book a parcel on a bus departure in the app and drop it at the station counter before the bus leaves. The recipient gets a message with a tracking link, and collects it at the destination counter with their code.
- Can I book a hotel too?
- Yes — Stays lets you book a hotel room in the same Zoomaa app you use for your bus trips.
- How do I contact support?

- I'm a bus operator — how do I join?
- Zoomaa Partner is our separate app for transport operators to list routes, manage seats and get paid. Use the “Get Zoomaa Partner” link, or email us and we'll get you set up.
